We are very pleased to announce that the Regulator of Social Housing has today published its regulatory judgement announcing that Leeds & Yorkshire Housing Association (LYHA) has retained its G1 V1 rating following an IDA (in depth assessment). This is the highest governance and financial viability rating awarded.
“We are delighted to retain our G1 V1 rating following the IDA, which is testament to the continued hard work and dedication of our colleagues, board members and engaged customers. 2020 has seen us launch our new three-year corporate plan, ‘Together 2023’ which sets out our new mission, vision and values for LYHA. It has been developed in partnership with our customers and builds on the transformation work of the last two years. I am excited now to focus on delivering our ambitious plans and continuing to improve the customer experience.
“This year has been challenging for everyone and we have had to adapt the way we work, in light of the COVID pandemic, to ensure that we maintain our high standards of service and customer safety, whilst keeping everyone safe. Therefore, receiving this news that we have retained the highest regulatory grade, as well as also being awarded the IIP Silver accreditation last week, is a real boost for the whole team.”
Mark Pearson, Chief Executive
“Retaining our G1 V1 rating is fantastic news. It demonstrates our ability to work together as ‘one team’ to deliver value for money, manage our risks and ensure effective governance. The best interests of our customers will always come first and we are firmly committed to supporting them, however we can, through this most difficult time and beyond.”
