Anne McMaster and Victoria Tolmie-Loverseed have joined LYHA's Board.
Their appointment follows the retirement of two of our Board members, Linda Cooper and Tom Whitside, who had come to the end of their nine years' maximum term on the Baord.
Anne works for Leeds City Council and is their lead on cross council migration and safeguarding agendas. She has a background in HR and is Chair of PATH Yorkshire, which works to improve the life chances of people from the BME community.
Victoria has a decade's experience in property, particularly the not-for-profit, student accommodation sector. She is currently the Assistant Chief Executive - Standards at Unipol Student Homes.
Speaking about their appointment Lisa Pickard, Chief Executive of LYHA, said: "I'm delighted about the appointment of Victora and Anne. They both have a fantastic range of skills and experiences which will enable them to make a valued contribution to our great and successful Board. I wish them a long and happy time with LYHA."
She also added: "Linda and Tom made extremely valued contributions during their service and we are sad to see them move on after their maximum time in office. We would like to thank them for their commitment and dedication to our Baord and we wish them well in their future."
